Kim Devereux

Managing Director

Kim graduated from Curtin University in Australia in 2005 with a degree in physiotherapy. Since then he has practiced in private practice and sports physiotherapy in 4 countries and completed post-graduate education in spinal manual therapy.

Kim worked in clinics in Western Australia before becoming the owner/operator of a gym-based physiotherapy centre in the area.  After a year of running the business he left to go travelling and worked for the Cirque du Soleil as the physiotherapist for the show Alegria on a North American tour. For the next year and a half he was responsible for the care of 60 athletes, primarily acrobats and gymnasts, from 20 different countries.

In more recent years Kim has been involved with building physiotherapy practices in the community and onsite within companies. This has been the evolution of Workplace Physiotherapy Clinics. He is now passionate about helping companies realize the huge benefits of having physiotherapy and injury management within their facilities. 


Darryl Simmons

Director of Business Development

Darryl entered the corporate world straight out of university and joined Workplace Physiotherapy Clinics with 15 years of consultative sales experience. His education background; focused on sales and marketing, international trade, and teaching has given him a unique perspective when developing plans to meet customers' needs.

Having held various corporate account management positions in a variety of industries, Darryl came to WPC with experience finding solutions for large domestic and international organizations. His personal goals of seeing healthy, happy employees in the workplace mesh with WPC’s Mission. Darryl also is the officer involved in overseeing the protection of personal information and privacy for WPC.

Darryl's interest in becoming part of the Workplace Physiotherapy Clinics team sparked from experiencing the benefits of physiotherapy himself. An advocate of all sports, he realized the ability to remain a productive worker while dealing with his own injuries. To date, he implements exercise regimes developed by WPC to remain injury free in his daily life. 


ADAM MANN

Director of Clinic Operations

Adam holds a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary. Previous to taking on an operational role at WPC health, Adam worked in a physiotherapist based position and gained an understanding of the day to day operations in the onsite clinic. His primary role is to onboard and supervise the physiotherapists as well as training of new clinic services. This is a familiar role for Adam as he has previous management role for Lifemark Health in Alberta and BC. As a physiotherapist, Adam is skilled in spinal manipulations, Mckenzie self-mobilization, functional dry needling, soft-tissue release, muscle energy techniques, and home exercise. Adam has experience treating competitive athletes, weekend warriors, injured workers, family practice, motor vehicle accidents, and indigenous populations.

Outside of work, Adam can be found cycling, in the mountains, cross-country skiing, or scuba diving.


Sanob Chan

Accounting & Billing Manager

Sanob completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at SFU and Diploma in Accounting at UBC. Sanob has over 10 years of administrative and customer service experience. He provides billing/accounting support to Workplace Physiotherapy Clinics. You can find Sanob at billing@wpchealth.com

 


Karla Enriquez

Office Coordinator

Karla holds a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in administration from Mexico, as well as postgraduate studies in business from Canada.

Before immigrating to Canada she worked for the Mexican government leading the law department in immigration national institute, she also served at the human rights commission, and worked for the private sector managing dental clinics.

In Canada, she had continued her preparation and combined her legal background and business experience serving for foreign governments and managing a construction company. As a result, she has over 10 years of business administration experience.

With a passion for medical environments, she sees WPC as a great opportunity to serve others by collaborating to grow the business, and by doing so, giving more people access to a better quality of life.
